Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is celebrating its caregivers who have worked tirelessly in the last year and throughout the pandemic.
Hospital leaders will host a news conference on Tuesday, May 10 to discuss the challenges of the past two years and thank the more than 600 caregivers in all roles and responsibilities who have worked together to keep the community safe and healthy.
They will also discuss upcoming projects designed to enhance mental health care, stroke and cancer care, financial investments in bedside clinical staff and recruitment efforts during the ongoing national nurse shortage.
Cortland Mayor Scott Steve will join hospital leaders for a special proclamation to recognize health care workers.
We’ll have full coverage of the event on-air and online.
