Guthrie Cortland Medical Center Begins Next Phase of ER Renovations
Today, Monday, February 9, marks the first day of the next phase of Guthrie’s renovation of their Emergency Department at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Guthrie says work will focus on improving the comfort, function, and flow of the waiting room and triage area.
Work is expected to last until mid-summer, Guthrie says. Visitors to their Emergency Department will enter the facility through the same doors, but will have to walk further down the hallway to sign in. Signage will be in place where registration is now located on the right side.
Guthrie added Cardiology patients will experience no changes. Lab Services will remain operating in the former cafe space near the hospital’s main entrance.
