Guthrie Cortland Hosting Mash Camp Tomorrow and Thursday

The Guthrie Cortland Medical Center will once again host Mash Camp tomorrow, July 9th and Thursday, July 10th. The camp provides high school students to visit the campus and learn about the vast health care field with hands-on and interactive experiences. 

Some of the areas students will participate in include: Trauma Drill/Emergency Department, Emergency Preparedness/HAZMAT, Mercy Flight/TLC, Laboratory, Imaging, Maternity, Physical Therapy and Cardiac Rehab, and Operating Room.

Last year’s MASH Camp, students learned to navigate the aftermath of a mock “horrible crash” that was caused due to texting and driving. All victims in the mock accident were actors.
