Tomorrow will be the last day for drive-thru COVID-19 testing at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center in the parking lot across the street from the hospital’s main entrance.
The reason for the closure was based on several factors Guthrie looked at, with the most noticeable of the steep decline in demand. Guthrie notes testing remains available at the Walk-in Care at 3993 West Rd. (Route 281) in Cortland.
Hours of operation for the clinic are 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and weekends from 7am to 1pm. Anyone arriving for COVID-19 testing should have an order from a provider and cost will depend on your insurance carrier.
