Guthrie announces new providers in Cortland

Guthrie has announced four new providers at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.




Dr. Paula Brooks is Chief Medical Officer of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center and a board-certified family medicine physician at Cortland West Road. Dr. Brooks has clinical interests in primary care services, pediatrics and family medicine. She completed her education at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. and a residency at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga.

Dr. Robert M. Corey, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic and sports medicine physician in Ithaca and Cortland with clinical interests in orthopedic trauma, sports medicine and shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Corey completed his education at Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pa., a residency at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Mo. and a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Felipe Juarez, MD is a fellowship-trained anesthesiologist at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Dr. Juarez completed his education at University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y. and a residency and fellowship at University at Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y.

And nurse practitioner Amanda Holley joins the pulmonology team at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center with clinical interests in asthma, COPD and pulmonary hypertension. Amanda completed her education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Guthrie is a non-profit integrated health system located in north central Pennsylvania and upstate New York, serving patients from a twelve-county service area, including right here in Cortland County.
