Guthrie and Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca Announce Partnership

Guthrie and Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca (GAI) have announced a new partnership that Guthrie says will bring together two respected organizations who are known for a high level of gastroenterological care.

Patients at GAI will continue with their office visits on Triphammer Road in Ithaca. However, GAI providers will now be performing all endoscopic procedures in the state-of-the-art GI suite at Guthrie Ithaca City Harbor at 720 Willow Ave in Ithaca, or at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

“We are thrilled to welcome GAI’s rich history and amazing providers into our facilities,” said Marie Darling, Senior Director, Administration, Guthrie Medical Group, Cortland Operations. “We knew this partnership was a great fit from the start. Our shared vision for what GI care should look like in Tompkins County is now being realized.” 

The partnership took effect on Monday, March 3rd. Guthrie says all forms of insurance that was currently accepted at GAI will also be accepted at Guthrie.
