Guns, Ammo & ATV stolen in Homer burglary

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating another home burglary, this time at a residence on East River Road in the town of Homer.

Officers responded yesterday to a theft complaint where an ATV, firearms, ammunition and electronics were reportedly stolen between March 7 and March 23.

Officers are also still investigating a home burglary in the town of Taylor, which occurred sometime this past week and also involved a reported theft of guns and ammunition, as well as jewelry and musical instruments.

No indication has been made thus far that these two crimes are related.
