Homer State police have announced the arrest of a Groton women for stealing over $1 Million dollars from a local roofing company.
Yesterday, troopers arrested Jeanne M. Parr, age 53 of Groton, for Grand Larceny in the first degree, a class B felony and Falsifying Business Records in the first degree, a class E felony.
According to the press release, the arrest comes after a year long investigation after the owner of JD Ferro Roofing discovered she’d been stealing company funds for years. She falsified business records to cover up the theft.
Troop C Bureau of Criminal Investigation was assisted by the New York State Police Financial Crime Unit.
