Groton Woman Charged With DWI After Traffic Stop on Route 215

A traffic stop was conducted by an officer with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office around 1:40 in the morning on Saturday, December 14th on Route 215 in Cortlandville. The Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle had multiple traffic violations as a reason for the stop.

During the investigation with the driver, 40 year old Mandi L. Karandeyev of Groton, officers determined she was driving while intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with DWI, a Misdemeanor, and numerous traffic violations.

Karandeyev was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and later arraigned via the Centralized Arraignment Process where she was then released and due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court at a later date.
