Groton Woman Airlifted After Crash in Town of Dryden

Around 4:40 in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 1st, Dryden Fire & Ambulance, and the New York State Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle off the roadway in the area of 1045 Harford Slaterville Road in the Town of Dryden.


Dryden Fire & Ambulance said in a release, the vehicle had possibly crashed into a pond off the roadway. Two people were inside the vehicle when it crashed. State Police say the driver, 53 year old Jodie Dann of Groton, was airlifted to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital for injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 25 year old female, was uninjured and was not transported to hospital.

State Police told X101 News the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
