The Village of Groton Police Department along with the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office have announced they will be participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign.
As Labor day approaches as well as the end of summer, many police departments will be out on patrol to ensure that anyone driving drunk or impaired is stopped.
The Village of Groton Police Department is asking those who are attending parties or intend to drink to use a safe alternative to drinking and driving whether it is taking a cab, public transit, Lyft, Uber, or from sober family or friends.
Groton Police say if you see someone who is driving drunk in the Village of Groton to contact the department at 607-898-3131.
