For the sixth straight year, Greek Peak Mountain Resort will host Res-Q-Jack Inc.’s extrication training program, the largest and most extensive of its kind for America’s First Responders.
The 16th annual Stabilization University training takes place Saturday, September 28, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., consisting once again of Res-Q-Jack’s intensive, hands-on and industry standard-setting curriculum.
Instructors from 18 U.S. states will lead participants through 24 different rescue stations, utilizing over 30 passenger cars, farm equipment, one tractor trailer, several large buses and a boat.
Participants include firefighters and rescue technicians from across the country, who are given the technical training needed in auto extrication, technical rescue, structural collapse and stabilization operations.

Training scenarios will include basic vehicle side-rest and roof-resting lifts, as well as truck and agricultural vehicle stabilization as well as such exotic scenarios as use of a tripod and the Darlington Roll.
