Greek Peak Announces Winners of Dream Wedding Giveaway Contest

Love is in the air! Especially when you’re the couple that just won the first ever Dream Wedding Giveaway contest by Greek Peak Mountain Resort, a prize valued at up to $15,000. The contest required only one thing from those entering the contest, to tell their proposal story and why it would be special to have their wedding hosted by Greek Peak for a 2024 booking.

All in all, 30 submissions came in, but Greek Peak says only one entry stood out. Greek Peak has announced that Talore Desantis and Cody Lucey of Baldwinsville as the winning couple.

Greek Peak says the couple have been looking for the perfect venue to bring their families together to celebrate their marriage. Talore is from Central New York and Cody is from Berkshire Massachusetts. Both of them had gone to Cazenovia College, where it all began.

Both Talore and Cody enjoy the outdoors, good food, adventures, and spending time with family and friends. Greek Peak continued to say this is what drew them to their facility.

“This is a first for us, a giveaway of this magnitude, and we are thrilled that we will be hosting Talore and Cody, who have strong ties to the Central New York area.” Wes Kryger, President of Greek Peak Mountain Resort said and he was particularly drawn to [the] couple’s strong family ties, “Their story really rings true with many others who decided to get married here at the mountain, and we are looking forward to helping create some unforgettable memories for them.”

The couple will wed this October with plans being done at The Lookout at Hope Lake, which is Greek Peak’s premier wedding venue. The Lookout is a 4,500 square foot space and can host 250 guests to stunning views of Hope Land and the mountain. The design of the space is a rustic, farmhouse appeal within its country setting.
