Greek Peak Announces an Additional $2.51 Million in Improvements to Mountain

Greek Peak says they have begun a four year snowmaking upgrade with an investment of $2.51 million dollars. The investment, Greek Peak says, will improve snow-making abilities on the mountain with better snow coverage, and allow for a longer ski and snowboarding season.

Work has already begun on laying pipes on Karyatis, Zephyr, and Epicurus. Greek Peak says next will be East Meadow and Boardwalk. Through the next few years, Greek Peak will have over 250 new HKD Snowmaker snow guns throughout their trails. Snowmaking will also expand to the eastern side of the mountain on the Arcadian Gate, Crisaean Way, Arethusa Way, Mars Hill trails. Snowmaking will also be added to Olympian.

Trails receiving major upgrades will be the Upper and Lower Pollux, Marathon, Wendy’s Way, and Alpha.
