Tomorrow at 9am, the gates for the Great New York State Fair will open for the first day of the 2023 fair. The fair will run through Monday, September 4th (Labor Day).
For day one of the fair, it will be Governor’s Day at the Fairgrounds, with Governor Hochul expected to be in attendance. Musical performances include Chubby Checker at 1pm and Salt-N-Pepa at 6pm at Chevy Court, and at Suburban Park: Steven Page at 2pm and Lainey Wilson at 8pm.
Reminder for those planning on making a trip to the fair, children under 12 years of age are admitted to the fair for free every day, seniors over 65 of age are admitted to the fair for free also.
For those who may have unused tickets from the 2022 fair, unfortunately those tickets will not be accepted for this year’s fair.
