Great Cortland Pumpkinfest Announces First-Ever T-Shirt Design Contest
This year will be the 28th year of the Great Cortland Pumpkinfest at Courthouse Park in Downtown Cortland, but it will also be the first year of a t-shirt design contest. Organizers for the famous festival say this is an opportunity to leave your mark on one of the best fall festivals.
“Whether you’re an artist at heart or just looking to have some festive fun, this contest welcomes all. Grab your paint brushes, pencils, computers, or any other materials you prefer, and let your imagination run wild.”
Cortland Pumpkinfest said in a social media post.
All submissions for the contest must be submitted online. Organizers say inspiration for the design should have the designer thinking of pumpkins, hayrides, live music, or their favorite part of the annual festival. Local schools, clubs, and families are encouraged to submit designs; collaborative designs are encouraged.
All submissions are due by May 31st with the winning design being announced during Porchfest on August 17th. The winner of the design contest will also receive a free t-shirt of their design.
You can submit your design HERE.
