Back on December 19th, 2021 a report came in to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office of two snowmobile trailers and six snowmobiles that had been stolen from a storage lot in the Town of Venice in Cayuga County with an estimated value of $22,000.
During the course of the investigation the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police. The agencies were able to locate and recover four of the six snowmobiles and both trailers that were stolen. Officer’s were also able to identify the suspects.
Officer’s on January 14th, 2022 arrested 27 year old Tyler Hulslander of Cortland, NY and charged him with Grand Larceny in the third degree, a felony. Officer’s attempted to locate the second suspect, 49 year old Amy Graham of Pitcher, NY.
A warrant was then issued by the Town of Venice Court and Graham was finally apprehended by New York State Police on August 10th and turned over to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
She faces the same charge as Hulslander with Grand Larceny in the third degree, a felony and was then processed and released due to New York State Bail Reform.
