For the second month in a row, Governor Hochul has announced additional SNAP benefits for New Yorkers. All New Yorkers enrolled in the SNAP program will receive the maximum amount of benefits for the month of January. Those who already receive the maximum amount will be given an additional share.
“These additional food benefits will play a critical role in eliminating food insecurity throughout the state. As the cold weather puts pressure on family budgets, these additional SNAP funds will provide much-needed relief,” said Governor Hochul.
