The City of Cortland Common Council meets Tuesday night at 7, preceded by two public hearings.
The hearings relate to Community Development Block Grants.
Also tonight, there could be action on a proposed local law to revise the City Code pertaining to property maintenance.
Two other agenda items are examples of local government efficiency:
The second phase of the Smart Water Meter Project along with the Town of Cortlandville and Village of Homer
A grant for Cortland, Homer and Cortlandville to jointly purchase a wood grinder/chipper.
Tompkins County Legislature
The Tompkins County Legislature also meets Tuesday night at 5:30 pm.
One agenda item is to ban the box: The box you see on job applications asking – Have you ever been convicted of a crime?
Village of Homer
The Homer Village Board also meets Tuesday night at 6 pm.
