Good Samaritan Finds Injured Puppy – County SPCA Seeks Answers


It was Saturday evening on October 14th, when a puppy was found in a ditch on Maybury Road in McGraw by a passing good samaritan, according to the Cortland County SPCA.

The SPCA says the puppy is between 4 and 5 months old and is an unaltered Boxer mix. The puppy was not wearing a collar or was microchipped. The SPCA also says the puppy has a broken distal femur and is now being treated for his injuries at Cornell.

The Cortland County SPCA is asking the public if they have any information regarding who the puppy belongs to or any information they have to share regarding the incident can call the SPCA at 607-753-9386.
