U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) is picking up the pace in her exploratory campaign for President of the United States in 2020.
She announced details yesterday (February 12) of a planned second visit to Iowa, a key electoral state especially when it comes to the primaries.
Gillibrand said in a release that she will be attending “meet-and-greets” in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City on Monday, Presidents Day (February 18).
There are now seven main Democrats running for the party nomination. At least twice that amount are either officially or unofficially “exploring” a run.
