The Cortland County Sheriff’s Officer responded on Saturday, August 27th around 11pm in the area of McFarlane Rd in the Town of Cincinnatus for a vehicle accident.
When officers arrived they found a pick-up truck had struck a tree. The operator of the truck, 20 year old Anthony Bush of German, NY was uninjured in the crash.
During further investigation by officer’s it was determined Bush was driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with Driving while intoxicated, Driving with a .08 of 1% or more of alcohol, both misdemeanors, and speed not reasonable and prudent, a violation.
Anthony Bush was issued an appearance ticket for all above charges and released.
