The pain at the pump doesn’t seem to be showing a sign of relief, at least in New York State. The National price for a gallon of gas dropped by 3 cents to an average of $3.77 a gallon. In New York however, prices edged up higher to an average of $3.90 a gallon.
The price of oil has helped ease the price of gas in the country, but a tight supply and increasing demand keep the average price in the state rising. The average price of a gallon of gas in Cortland County is slightly lower than the state average at $3.83.
