Gas prices continue to rise with still no relief in sight. Prices throughout Cortland County have now risen to average over $4.70 a gallon with diesel now averaging $6.52 a gallon.
As Memorial day comes and oil prices are still rising from increased demand worldwide, prices of $5 or more for a gallon of gas is now a very realistic possibility.
