Freeville Man Facing Child Endangerment Charges After 1-Year Old Inhales Vape
State Police say Troopers in Owego arrested 28 year old Kevin Laurence Ellis of Freeville around 2:40 in the afternoon back on Wednesday, November 26th following a child endangerment investigation. State Police say the parents of the victim reported that back on October 26th, Ellis provided a 1-year old child with a nicotine vape.
State Police say the 1-year old inhaled some of the contents from the vape.
Following their investigation, Troopers determined Ellis did endanger the child with his actions. Ellis turned himself in on Wednesday at the State Police Barracks in Ithaca. He was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Misdemeanor.
Ellis was turned over to the State Police Barracks in Owego where he was processed and issued an appearance ticket to Newark Valley Town Court later this month.
