Officers responded to a residence in the Town of Freetown on Saturday, September 2nd for a reported altercation that had taken place.
During the investigation, it was revealed 22 year old Christopher J. Fox of Freetown, was involved in a physical altercation with an individual known to him. During the altercation, Fox had threatened the victim with an object and then proceeded to strike the victim with that object multiple times causing injuries.
Fox also then damaged the victim’s property and prevented the victim from leaving. He did all of this while in the presence of two children.
Officers arrested and charged Fox with Assault in the 2nd, Grand Larceny in the 4th, both Felonies, Two Counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Mischief in the 4th, Menacing in the 2nd, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th, all Misdemeanors.
He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where he was arraigned through the centralized arraignment process and later released. Fox is due back in Freetown Town Court later this month.
