This summer, residents of Tompkins County can attend a series of free Septic System and Private Water Well Maintenance Workshops.
The event will focus on homeowner septic system management. Various topics will also include how a septic system functions, maintenance requirements and schedules, and system failures. Components of private water wells and maintenance on those components will also be discussed.
Workshops will be offered 6:30-8 PM in the evenings June 14th at Lansing Town Hall, August 17th at Danby Town Hall, and September 21st at Ulysses Town Hall. Registration’s required by calling 607-274-6688 and space is limited to 15 people per workshop. Attendees can also receive a $200 rebate coupon good for septic system maintenance by going to the workshop.
