Free EMT classes available later this month in Central New York

The New York State Department of Health is offering free EMT classes through TLC Ambulance service with hopes to limit staff shortages. TLC Ambulance service is offering two classes, one in Syracuse and one in Cortland. Both classes run January 31 to March 11. 



The Syracuse class runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with some labs occurring on Saturdays. Class is 9-4.

The Cortland class runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with no Saturday classes. Class is 9-5. 

If you are interested in taking a class, email them at training@tlcems.com with the class location as the subject. Once you complete the class, you can test out for your EMT then can get hired as an EMT anywhere.
