Both the New York State Police and the Cortland County Health Department are teaming up to provide a free child safety seat check this Saturday, September 23rd from 10am to 2pm at the Cortlandville Fire Station located at 999 State Route 13.
During the event, certified child passenger technicians will be on-hand to discuss how to safely transport children and reduce the chance of car seat misuse. The technicians will also check your child’s seat for proper installation, harnessing and the overall safety of it.
