A crash in McLean sent four children to area hospitals just before noon on Friday, May 12th. Three adults involved in the crash were also evaluated on scene by emergency personnel.
McLean Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of the two vehicle crash involving a Chevy Silverado and a GMC SUV. Additional emergency response from Groton, Dryden, and TLC Ambulance also responded.
The injuries to the four children are believed to be due to improper child safety seats and the McLean Fire Department stresses the importance of using proper child safety seats to avoid injuries.
The New York State Police and Tompkins County Sheriff also assisted in the crash.
