Former TC3 Extension Center in Cortland Looks to Be Renovated by County

The Former TC3 Extension Center in the City of Cortland on 22 West Court Street looks to be renovated by the county for use as the County’s Department of Emergency Response & Communications Facility.




For tomorrow, the Cortland County Legislature’s Building and Grounds Committee will vote for recommendations of awarded bids including: Electrical work, Plumbing, HVAC, and General Contracting. The meeting will take place at the County Office Building on Central Ave. in the City of Cortland at 10am.

The recommendations the committee for bids are:

Electric:

  • Matco Electric: $167,820

Plumbing:

  • Slavic & Company: $82,000

HVAC:

  • Slavic & Company: $496,000

General Contractor:

  • McGinnis Nelson: $571,000

In total, costs are expected to be $1,316,820 dollars. If approved by the committee, the resolution will then be voted on by the full legislature at the end of the month.
