Firefighters free trapped person after crash involving a car and bus

Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Route 41a and Eaton Road in the town of Summerhill this afternoon for a report of car and bus collision. The bus type is unknown.

Multiple injuries and entrapment were reported. A helicopter was originally called, but canceled due to inclement weather. One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted.

Two patients were taken to Syracuse area hospitals via Four Town ambulance of Moravia.

Emergency services included Homer, Sempronius, and Moravia Fire departments, and ambulance services Four town were also on the scene.
