CORTLAND, N.Y. – The nationally 15th-ranked Cortland field hockey team clinched the top seed for November’s four-team SUNYAC tournament with a 10-0 win over visiting Morrisville. The Red Dragons (10-1, 5-0 SUNYAC) are guaranteed no worse than a tie for first in the league with one conference game remaining, and Cortland holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the two teams, New Paltz and Geneseo, that could finish tied with the Red Dragons.
