Another major drug bust was done by the Cortland County Drug Task Force on Thursday, December 1st at a residence located on West Main Street in the Village of McGraw.
The task force conducted a narcotics search warrant at the residence and located over an ounce of Meth, 8 grams of Cocaine, 46 bags of Fentanyl, 68 sublingual strips and 19 pills containing Buprenorphine, 40 pills containing Amphetamine, packaging materials, scales, and an undisclosed amount of currency.
The street value of the drugs found is worth over $5,330 dollars.
The suspect, 47 year old Chester L. Burdick of McGraw was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th, both Felonies. Burdick was also charged with the Misdemeanor of 2 counts Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd.
He was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing and was arraigned on Friday, December 2nd and taken to Cortland County Jail with no bail. He is expected to return to Cortlandville Court at a later date.
As the investigation is ongoing, additional charges are possible.
