Just after 11 o’clock at night on Thursday, November 2nd, a traffic stop was conducted on Route 222 by an officer from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
During the stop, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 32 year old Megan M. Jenin of McGraw, was found to be driving with a suspended license. A continued investigation and search of the vehicle found several wax paper envelopes, which were then tested and found to be containing fentanyl.
Officers arrested Jenin and charged her with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, Unlicensed Operator, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd, and Parked on Pavement.
She was taken to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and later released on an appearance ticket. Jenin is due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court next week.
