Fentanyl, Cocaine, Meth, Molly And More Found In Drug Bust in McGraw

A drug bust was conducted by the Cortland County Drug Task Force with assistance from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, Cortland Police, and Homer Police Department on Friday, December 22nd, at a residence on West Main Street in the Village of McGraw.


During the search of the residence, officers found fentanyl, cocaine, meth, methadone, a synthetic cathinone (known as Molly), psilocybin, packaging materials, scales, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The street value of the drugs found was $8,000. The suspect, 48 year old Chester L. Burdick of McGraw, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th, both Felonies, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, 2 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd, and Unlawful Sale, Possession, and/or Use of Dangerous Substances or Synthetic Drugs, all Misdemeanors.

Burdick was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and is currently awaiting arraignment at the time of this release.
