We can tell you more about that tractor trailer crash and fire from Friday morning on I-81 South, south of Preble.
State Police say at about 5:52 am, the driver from New Jersey went off the road for some reason. He hit some trees and the vehicle caught fire. The driver’s name was not released.
Homer and Preble firefighters put out the fire. Others responding: Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies, TLC ambulance, state fire investigators and the Cortland County Coroner.
