Famous Route 90 Sales Happening This Weekend

A sign the month of July is coming to an end is the annual Route 90 sales from Homer to Montezuma. Taking place every year on the last full weekend for the month of July, there will be 50 miles of garage/yard sales. Some sales could begin tomorrow, Friday, but a majority of Route 90 Sale will open up come Saturday morning and continue through Sunday.

During the sales, you’ll be able to find all kinds of items, furniture, antiques and more.

Expect heavy traffic on Route 90 starting tomorrow. Parking restrictions will be in place in areas on Route 90. In Homer, the Homer Police Department asks you not to park on the South side of Cayuga Street in the Village in order to ensure fire trucks can easily navigate the street in the event of an emergency.

It is advised that if you’re not browning the sales, to find an alternative route.
