The Family Health Network of Central New York has gained another recognition. FHN recently achieved Bronze Advocacy Center of Excellence Status.
The program recognizes and rewards Community Health Centers who demonstrate an excellence in formalizing their advocacy program to help make it an institutional part of the overall operations.
Family Health Network has made large impacts to the communities it serves. Recently in 2021, FHN was able to generate over $18.5 million dollars for the local economy and supported 170 jobs locally.
Throughout the year FHN served 15,115 patients throughout their 11 sites. FHN provided their healthcare to community members in need the most with 39% classified as poor, 46% enrolled in Medicaid and chip and 5% who were uninsured.
