Eves Broadcasting Inc. Internship Program

Overview

Eves Broadcasting Inc.’s internship program is designed to engage and educate our future
generations on the operations of a radio station, and our digital marketing services. Interns
are encouraged to get college credits from their respective schools. Interns in the first two
weeks of the program will shadow all departments before selecting an area of focus.
Internships are paid by Eves Broadcasting Inc. through the NYS Broadcasting Association.

Currently for the fall of 2023. We’ve got two (2) internship spots available. All candidates will be interviewed. Three references and a resume are required

Internship Areas of Focus

Production Assistant
Available Opportunities:
● Write, produce, and voice commercials & PSA’s of all lengths.
● Produce radio station imaging. (Jingles)
● Use station protocols to assign files in radio station systems.
● Help manage station audio files.
● Assist in production of specialty radio shows.
● Assign metadata information.

Skills to be learned:
● Writing for radio, including commercials and PSA’s.
● Digital Audio editing.
● Digital file management.
● Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail.

All work is completed at the X101 Always Classic Studios.

Training:
● Job shadowing
● On-site training

Journalism
Available Opportunities:
● Research and write local news items as assigned. (Both on-air news and web)
● Assist with editing articles.
● Publish stories to the web.
● Assist with breaking news stories/alerts.
● Assist at on-scene press conferences.

Skills to be learned:
● Real world Journalism experience
● WordPress website publishing.
● On-scene journalism experience
● Digital audio editing.
● Digital file management.
● Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail.
Training:
● Job shadowing
● On-site training

Majority of work to be completed at the X101 Always Classic Studios with some exception to
on-scene assignments.

Marketing
Available Opportunities:
● Assist with marketing plans
● Assist with sales proposal
● Assist with radio/web copy for clients
● Help organize sales objectives
Skills to be learned:
● Marketing/sales experience
● WordPress website publishing.
● Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail.
Training:
● Job shadowing
● On-site training
Majority of work to be completed at the X101 Always Classic Studios with some exception to
on-scene assignments.


All internships are a minimum of 100 hours per semester in person. Hours verified per week.
Work days are Monday through Friday 9 to 5pm.

All interns are required to read and understand our Employee Handbook and sign/date they
understand it.
