The Homer Center for the Arts to support the Cortland County Child Advocacy Center and to raise awareness & of Child Abuse Prevention Month has announced they’re contributing $1.00 from every ticket sale this month.
And all this April you can also raise awareness with a pin wheel garden.
Across the nation the blue pinwheel is seen as a symbol of a happy and carefree childhood.
Pinwheels are popping up in front yards, school yards, organizations and places of business as a visual sign that we all can work to prevent child abuse and neglect.
This month you can join in the effort and help support the Cortland County Child Advocacy Center by purchasing pinwheels and planting a garden to show your support for the children of our community. Everyone has a role in preventing child abuse and supporting families.
For more information on purchasing pinwheels and “planting” your garden of support contact the Cortland County CAC at 607-753-5087 or CortlandCAC@cortland-co.org.
