Eric Clapton has announced plans for his fifth Crossroads Guitar Festival, which will make its return for the first time since 2013.
The star-studded musical extravaganza will be held September 20-21 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, the city that hosted the first official Crossroads fest in 2004.
The confirmed lineup for this year’s event includes such guitar stars as Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, Jeff Beck, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, Los Lobos, Jimmie Vaughan, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Gary Clark Jr., and Derek Trucks and his wife, Susan Tedeschi.
Clapton will perform on both days of the festival, which will feature a wide range of onstage collaborations.
Tickets for the 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festival will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.com.
Presale tickets will be available for Citi card members starting Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. CT; visit CitiEntertainment.com for more information.
As always, profits from the fest will benefit The Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a drug and alcohol treatment and education facility founded by Eric.
