The race is down to the final stretch. Election day is here and polls in Cortland County are open until 9pm.

On the ballot for election day include US Congressional District 19, New York State Senate District 52, Governor of New York, and several others.

Also on the ballot will be a proposition for Cortland County to abolish the elected office of county treasurer. Since 2016, the county has had four different treasurers, with two resigning.
City of Cortland residents will also decide yes or no on extending the term of office for Common Council members and the mayor from 2 years to 4 years.
