A public forum is planned for tomorrow (February 4) to provide the community with more details on a proposed $90M solar farm project located mostly in Solon, which would provide 90-megawatts of power for the towns of Solon, Cortlandville and Homer.
Hosting the meeting will be representatives of EDF Renewables, the project manager on that job, consisting of company officials, attorneys and an environmental team.
They’ll be at the Ramada Cortland Hotel & Conference Center from Noon – 3 p.m., located at 2 River Street.
All members of the community are encouraged to attend and have any questions answered that they may have about the 600-acre project.
While no extensive presentation is planned, more than 40 descriptive poster boards will be on-hand to help facilitate the discussion.
A similar meeting was held last year at McGraw High School.
