Easter Egg Hunt, Movies on the Green, and More Ahead For Busy Spring & Summer For Homer Rec. Department

Once again, the Village of Homer Recreation Department plans to have a busy Spring and Summer season for residents. Homer Mayor Clune noted some of the events the Village of Homer Recreation Department will be hosting this Spring/Summer.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 19th on the Village Green. The egg hunt will begin at noon and is open for kids ages 12 and under. The Recreation Department asks you to bring your own bag or basket.

Movies on the Green will also return for its second year on the Village Green. Movies announced and their dates may be found below. The tradition of movies on the green began last year after the Recreation Department purchased an inflatable movie screen that can be projected on. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, with free popcorn available. All movies will begin at dusk.

More events, programs, and available sports offered through the Rec. Department may be found online at VillageofHomer.RecDesk.com.
