Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund Announces Spring Grant Applications Now Being Accepted

Applications are now being accepted by the Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund (DYOF) during the month of March. The organization has provided over $200,000 in grant awards since its founding 21 years ago. Grants are awarded by the organization twice a year with a goal of providing a long-term benefit for Dryden area youth through innovative and creative programs and activities.

DYOF says projects should have a focus on cultural enrichment, academic achievement, and general youth development. Funding may go towards supplementing educational and extra-curricular activities which are typically funded by school budgets, but are not intended to replace them.

Groups who are sponsored by a not-for-profit organization that serves Dryden youth are eligible to apply for the grant. All applications will be reviewed by the DYOF Board of Community Volunteers during the month of April. More information and where to apply may be found at DYOF.org.
