Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund Accepting Applications For Fall Grant Cycle
Applications are now being accepted for the fall grant cycle of the Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund (DYOF). According to the DYOF, the grant funds are awarded twice throughout the year for the long-term benefit of Dryden area youth.
The grants help create and continue innovative and creative programs and activities that go beyond basic education. The DYOF says projects looking for grant funds should have a focus on cultural enrichment, academic achievement and general youth development.
Money awarded may be used to supplement educational and extracurricular activities which are typically funded by school budgets, but not intended to replace those funds. Organizations that are sponsored by not-for-profit organizations which serve Dryden are eligible for the grant. All applications will be reviewed by the board in November with funds awarded afterwards. More information and to download the application can be found online at DYOF.org.
