Around 8:30 pm on Sunday, May 21st, a call came in to Tompkins County 9-1-1 of a vehicle traveling on Route 13 that was unable to maintain its lane in the Village of Lansing.

State Police responded to the call and later located the vehicle pulling into a Mobil Gas Station in the City of Ithaca. As troopers were speaking with the driver, identified as 33 year old Cali W. Brown of Dryden, they noticed an odor of alcohol and characteristics of impairment.

Troopers had Brown perform a field sobriety test, which she conducted poorly. She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (Previous Conviction of 10 years). She was transported to SP Ithaca where her B.A.C. was .24%, or three times over the legal limit of .08%.

Brown was issued appearance tickets and released to a sober third party.
