Dryden plans Special Board Meeting on Rural Broadband

Local News

The Dryden Town Board will hold a special meeting Friday (March 6) to authorize Town Supervisor Jason Leifer’s submission for funds through the USDA’s Rural Development Broadband ReConnect Program.

That’s a federal pilot program that offers unique financing and funding options in the form of loans, grants, and various combinations of both.

Funding is used to facilitate broadband deployment in rural parts of the country that don’t currently have sufficient access.

Friday’s meeting is planned for Noon at the Dryden Town Hall, located at 93 East Main Street in Dryden.
