Dryden Fire/Warning System Test Happening Saturday – Dryden Fire Stresses No Cause For Alarm
The Dryden Fire Department says their department and the Tompkins County 9-1-1 Center will be conducting tests on the fire/warning system this Saturday, November 22nd around noon. Dryden Fire says residents in the Village of Dryden and surrounding should not be alarmed.
The test, which is anticipated to last about 10 to 15 minutes, will have the sirens go off at different durations and sound pitches. Dryden Fire says pets should be kept inside during the tests.
Residents should not be concerned about the testing and do not need to call 9-1-1 to report the alarms.
